the story

'a gentle breeze floats along the early waking hours, easily carried inside on the arms of sheer flowing drapes. through the open window, music plays, deep strings like water caressing the dark wood paneled walls, an old clock, two small, steaming coffee cups set on the table.

a shadow passes by the end of a hall, slowly gliding through its routine. it calls out as a second shadow appears, emerging from cold rooms half cloaked in the remnant of night, half kissed by a waking sun. two pairs of slippered feet find each other so two shadows can combine. one hand grasps the other, bodies cradled together, an impromptu dance in the warmth of the dawn while the coffee goes cold.

candle care

best practices for longest lasting burn

  • always keep an eye on candle while burning
  • do not burn for longer than 4 hours at a time
  • trim wick to 1/4” above wax before every burn (or pinch off burnt wick)
  • let melt pool reach entire surface for first burn for best longevity
  • keep open flame away from pets, children, drafts, flammable materials
  • stop burning when 1/2” of wax remains

after use care

  • warm wax is easy to scoop out with paper towel or spoon. toss old wax & wick/wick clip in trash (not sink!)
  • wash jar & lid with hot soapy water
  • repurpose as flower vase, spice jar, trinket holder, anything you like!
